It's like what I do when researching some bit about the F-15.  I _never_ 
hunt down a pilot, I go for the maintainers.  They're happy to answer my 
question if they're permitted to and they're generally an awesome bunch of 
folks to work with.  The pilots act like upper management. :)  (except one 
Mudhen driver I know - he's a maintainer in pilot's clothing *grin*)
