[simpits-tech] What is the best way to make gauges?

hi,

if you aren't bothered by soup cans, you might consider the ring that seals 
screw-on "ball" jars.

the middle of the top is removable (with a seal), and the outer edge has a 
thread which seals the top part to the jar.

painted black, these might be a candidate.
