[simpits-tech] Using an ATX power supply

ok, so you link the green wire to ground and the power supply should
switch on.

Now, I do recall that these supplies need a load in order to function
properly. I also recall horror stories about them failing if they don't
have a proper load on them. Truth or urban myth?

Can anyone who KNOWS please share!?
