OUNCCCHHHH.... oh man... Not the digi cam! Camera is my life. My old man
once said to me when he gave me a SLR for my 18th bday. "there are two
things you cant lend out to people. One is your wife, the other is your
camera". It hurts me reading you dropped it. Hope all is well.

Now, the footage... I can try ask around harder... only wish I was still at
university since they got all the equipments there. Right now its all RAW
footage on DV tape and some VHS, no editing. First I got to get it off the
DV tape onto VHS and then onto some kind of video capture for the computer.
1/2 of what's on the DV tapes have been copied onto VHS. The hard part is to
get the remaining footage off the DV tapes (because I no longer have the
work camera).

There are some good stuff, such as the crew chef's hand signal to the pilot
during the start up sequence. Filmed over 3 days. Did those guys think I was
a F16 fanatic or what? Only wish I had one of those one leg tripod! that
would have made life a lot easier!

I have a Leadtek G4force 128mb video and it has VIVO...When I link
everything up before. The video footage was displayed on my computer screen.
However, only in black and white...and when I hit the capture button.
Nothing gets capture. I am hoping to give it another go when I upgrade to XP
(Hope its just a OS related problem, I currently run win2k Prof).

Anyone out there have experience with Video on their Geforce 4 card ?

Last but not least, I went to your site michi. Beautiful photographs! thanks
for sharing them with us. When I can manage to get the footage to work. You
will be the first to know.

Cheers,

Al
