I'd be a little suprised if they did. Aren't there already 3rd party
companies using ATI chips on their own hardware?

As in '04? Hopefully Santa is bringing me that one next week ;) I think I'm
set for it except for a throttle quadrant. Still need to pick up a USB to
gameport adapter to use as a base for a simple quadrant.

On another note, had dinner with my Dad tonight and we talked a bit about
his new toy: the CRJ. He said it's speed is second only to the 777 in the AA
fleet. He's pushed it to 500 kts a couple of times and is basically tickled
$#!+less with it. Says the turbine lag isn't much of an issue thanks to the
high bypass/damn near ducted fan turbofans on the tail. Sounds like a great
plane. When I come into some cash I'm going to have to get him to help me
build a CRJ sim. He has a degree in aerospace engineering, so he should be
able to help me tweak the flight model to make it right.

Bedtime now. Us vampires have to do that when the sun comes up ;)
