<FONT FACE=3D"Arial" SIZE=3D2>Sounds like your KISS solution is=
a custom board that converts the transducer output to something=
that the Cougar electronics will recognize the same way as their=
pots. Sure, there are lots of solutions, but I know from=
too painful experience that just because I can solve a problem a=
given way, does not mean I have the time to do so. If you=
think the interest in knobs was intense, Marv, the interest in=
this conversion will probably be twice as much, or more. =
Be sure to factor in your sanity, dude!! This one may=
surprise you - so the least invasive method, one that doesn't=
require one to go outside of the Coug's electronics, is the best=
for many reasons from many angles. Having accomplished=
that, it's no big leap for the user to toss said electronics and=
go all EPIC. But that's a user thing, and if you want to=
address the greater Cougar audience, I would suggest keeping a=
divider betwixt EPIC and Cougar.
