Have you considered using a larger minitor to drive two displays?

Our 777's PFD and ND are located fairly close to each other... there is  a
strip of board between them to make them appear two separate displays, but
have a combined diagonal of 17". So a 17-21" monitor should do for the
PFD/ND... hopefully

The standby instruments and the EICAS have a combined diagonal of 15"... so
a 15-17" monitor should do there. Again there are strips of wood between the
displays to make them appear as separate displays, but they will opnly be
driven off one monitor.

Also, I haven't checked but it may be possible to do the same with one FMC
and the lower EICAS. Not sure what we're going to do with the other FMC
though...

Too many CRTs in the 777 LOL

What do you reckon?
