in australia i have a "b" licence i was on daily checks then momthly now yearly checks but the instructor still has to DI the aircraft and be present on the airfield for all of my flights ..... geeze wish i was flying under your rules !!

 On a side
note, with today's rules, the instructor doesn't even have to be on the
field. It's enough that he/she is reachable by phone! Sounds a bit dangerous
if you ask me...
