I hear you. :)

I discussed the license/certificate deal briefly with my instructor last
night. I don't know if it's the same, but we did used to have A and B certs
too. The A variant appearantly only allowed you to (under supervision) to
take off and circle back to land. Back in those days, having a C was
something of an achievment. I was surprised to hear this because I regard it
as being only half-way there. The S cert is the goal of all of this.
