/Some/ certainly existed. I was *using* one at the Retro Gaming Show in
Croydon late last summer! It was the dumb-terminal version: 2 6502s & a
terminal emulator in ROM. It had no namebadge or anything so it could
have been a prototype. I think a limited number did make it into
production but that it was canned by Olivetti. There's a site about
obscure Acorn hardware somewhere with pictures of the press ads for the
ABC series and so on.

But on that noe, I don't recall a 286 version of Concurrent DOS. I
thought CDOS was 386-only. The multitasking DR OSs for 8086 & 80286 were
Concurrent CP/M, weren't they? Did ANSI-level DOS compatibility but not
BIOS-level or hardware-level.

I'd cite the Wikipedia article...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiuser_DOS

... as a reference, only it's no help; I wrote it. :¬)

On balance, I doubt that chap's memory. I think he's confusing DOS+ with
CDOS. But I could be wrong.
