Oh I see...I can just make the 90* long enough to get some space away
from the AC lines.

Oh it's going to rock. :) I've dug into the flight manual a bit, and I
must say it's remarkably complex....for example, the fuel system: there
is a FOUR POSITION switch on the throttle quadrant that controls how
the fuel pumps and balancing system works (center, up, down LEFT, and
down RIGHT). If it's in certain positions, during certain aircraft
configurations, you'll get a warning on the annunciator panel that says
"FUEL SW NOT NORMAL"....that's literally what it says. But get
this....there are normal phases of flight where you are SUPPOSED to
move that switch, and you SHOULD see the "not normal" light. :)

But yes, the startup alone is very interesting, and involves lots of
switches and lights, and model-specific quirks. It should make one
awesome sim from a procedures standpoint!
