Alan, the big difference with this guy's project is that it doesn't rely 
on sound output for vibration effects.  There's a custom driver that pulls 
data from the simulator (both MSFS and XPlane) that enables the vibration 
effect.  You also get a much better amplitude range from that heavy weight 
than you would from sound.
