I'm cutting acrylic with a 2mm cutter (or 3mm) at 22,000rpm, 1.5mm at a
pass, feed speed around 1000mm/min and it gives a beautiful finish.

Frank, the last acrylic I machined was with a 1/4" "O" flute cutter @
10,000RPM with a feed rate of 1 inch/sec and a cut depth of 1/8" per
pass.

Onsrud makes some very good "O" flute cutters specifically for machining
acrylic. Note that you'll get better results from cast acrylic as
opposed
to extruded acrylic.
