[simpits-tech] Just got talked out of trying x plane

Not being real impressed with FSX, I have stayed with FS9 and have been leaning towards trying Xplanes. However, I had a phone conversation with David today fron V max simulators and they will be releasing a comprehensive combat mod for FSX! This includes full air combat capability with functional weapons systems.  Add on scenery will provide ground targets that can be destroyed. Right now they are developing the software with Lockheed for the Prepar3D project but it will also be released to the general public for FSX. It sounds like the core software is what they use for their sims that they have at the naval aviation museum and the Midway museum, but adopted to use the virtual world of FSX for the cutting edge graphics.
