[simpits-tech] Old Warbird IFF ?

Apologies for the cross post - I'm too lazy to cut'n'paste this.

I've just acquired an old IFF controller which I was told was from a
1950's aircraft but given that this is american built, I presume it's from
an american warbird.

Is anyone familiar with model numbers like J-501, C-1159/APX-68  or
C-544/APX-6 ??
