I hate to break this to you, but he's not imagining things.  There was a 
very well documented incident where an F-15 had a mid-air with an A4. 
The A4 rained wreckage all over the landscape.  The F-15 landed with 
2/3rd of it's right wing missing.  Don't insult someone if you don't 
know what the hell you're talking about.
