No, this is a whole new flight sim based on X-plane.  It's being done by a
group who was with G2i and then had a falling out (imagine that).  The
original fighter ops was to be based on the code G2i was doing for Falcon 4.
When G2i had it's falling out with Atari, they started up fighterops.  Then
there was a falling out within fighterops and G2i was sent packing and the
rest started over using X-plane as the basis for their flight sim instead of
the falcon based code G2i was using.

It's to be an ongoing project starting with a training aircraft.  It's meant
to be modular in that you will add different aircrafts as you advance in the
training.
