[simpits-tech] Airliner Scrap Yards in LA Area?

I'll be vacationing in the LA area next month. Part of our time will be 
spent north on LA in Ventura. We're also spending some time around Palm 
Springs. Are there any places nearby that might have 727 parts? I tried 
emailing Scroggins Avaiation in the Mojave desert and didn't get a reply. 
Mapquest says Las Vegas is about 4 hours from Palm Springs, so anything in 
that area isn't out of the question either.
