Hi Gene
Take a trip to Boeing Surplus and pick up a bunch of piloted 100 degree 
counter sinks. Then play around with some flat head rivets and flat head 
screws. The pilot diameter is normally the same size as your screw or rivet 
clearance hole diameter. If you are going to make some panels with Dzus 
fasteners you will need to counter sink the back side with a .257 piloted 
100 degree countersink .

You can also use it with threaded drill bits if you need to hand drill 
perpendicular holes.
