[simpits-tech] B747-400 Cockpit Dimensions

Sorry for not reading trought your web site :( I just checked it at a glance, but couldn't recall my memory that I know the software called FlightGear Simulator. So, you have a full control to generate keys or do anything with the software? I'm sure it's too difficult for me to get to that point. It sounds like another X-Plane program group.

Regarding the data file transfer on my web site... it's going up everyone from 8MB. That's because I have more than 150 files (MSFS aircraft, MSFS Scenery, IL2 Skins and Videos, Falcon 4 Skins, dozens of tutorial files) for members to download. Anyway, I don't think by adding B747-400 information (images) onto my server will make my server down. Well, we'll see. The link will be provided on the index page of my web site under the Simpits category... I'll let you guys know.

(This is to answer another email that you just posted the missing images)
Yes, these are files I'm looking for. I want to know how much space of the sim room will I want to place this thing into. Gosh, I need lots of space if I want to sit in the B744 sim.

Once again, I thank you for sharing the lost web site www.747cockpit.com ....

you are welcome :)

(I knew it was a good idea to mirror the stuff from 747cockpit.com...
but I didn't know that not so long after I downloaded the whole site,
the whole content would disappear :(

hmm. sorry, it doesnt seem like I have those.
What kind of drawings were those ?

Good thing is that those pics are large :-)

Have you read the introduction to our project on the intro page ?
It explains a few things:
http://cockpit.varxec.de/main.html

We are using the FlightGear simulator. Its Free Software under the GPL,
so its open source. Its easy to change or add things to it. No need for
things like fsuipc. It runs on Linux, Unices, Windows, Macs.
FlightGear also makes it very easy to access its internal variables.

As for the PFD,ND,EICAS and CDU: I'm working on my own set of Glass
Cockpit software. My software allows you to use older machines and is
fully networkable. No OpenGL needed :)

Details and screenshots can be found here:
http://cockpit.varxec.de/software/x11gc.html

The hardware will be controlled by PHCC
(http://cockpit.varxec.de/electronics/PHCC.html)
thats where most of my free time goes into right now...

You have 15GB going in and out each month ??? Wow.

I think I have 5GB on *.varxec.de (which has probably less than 10MB
free space left) and 15GB (shared with someone else) on my new server
temporarily named cockpit.homeunix.net until I get another real domain
for it.
