Brian,

Thanks for the welcome.
As for the emergency services, I have done a little of everything.
Rescue Squad for five years, paid firefighter for four (serious injury
shortened my stay), volunteer firefighter (mostly driving and operating
equipment, no building entry because of injury), 12 years in Civil
Air Patrol, six as Wing Deputy director of Communications, 13
years as radio technician with the state police and I am an
amateur radio operator. I was working for Motorola in Harrisburg
during the Three Mile Island accident. As it is sometimes put,
"I have been ridden hard and put away wet!".

It is now time to relax!

I have been getting information from Simkit on their instruments,
but the ones for turbine engines will have to be modified real
one. I have figured out how to drive the tachometers and have
a rotor/engine one from a 206. I also have a three
Wulfsburg control headsand a NAT audio panel.
I was given a Bell 407 instrument panel from an
upgrade (panel and glare shield only).I have a set of
pedals, grip and collective from a 206.The fun will
be doing the control to electronic design.

I am looking to do some night time rooftop helipad
landings to add some excitement!

Since I already do cad and schematic and circuit drawing,
what is a little 3D work? I have practiced with gmax and
am waiting for a new graphics tablet to arrive. Also,
my son is taking computer graphics and animation
at a technical college in Tempe, and he will be helping me.
His 3D work is extremely realistic.

By the way, I am diabetic and this is the release I use
that helps me cope with this disease and other hobbies
I can no longer do.

Fred
