Glad to see you back, Al. Sea, sand, and the Sun are still waiting for you here in Thailand:)

Sounds like you are becoming an AutoCAD expert, good for you... I don't have to convert my CAD files into DXF before sending to you anymore :)

    Hi all...

a change of email address at the end of December thrown me off this list for the past couple of months.

It was a good cleansing period... (to tell you the truth, I didnt miss flying falcon online, I didnt miss the forums, this mail list because I simply havent had time to even think about it!!!!). Started a new job as a interactive multimedia developer (god knows why?) but its quiet hectic and challenging to be working in this position within an Architectural and urban design studio. Explore into the area of Auto CAD, Revit and 3DSM with the classic multimedia stuff is making my hair grey everyday working my butt off working out what's 1:500 scale @ 600 DPI on a A1 piece of paper :)

Virtual reality is what I love, simulated world is another passion of mine. Hopefully this job is a step towards that position or at least it will give me some saving to travel around the globe and visit Allen B's flight sim shop in the US... sit in Gene's eagle flying LOMAC, visit Surfin's superb pit sipping on some French wine, catching up with Sukit in Thailand, tour to Austria to deliver him that F16 video and check out how maybe pit Roy has in his collection. My travel bug is killing me inside out everyday at work.

I must missed a lot of things here for the last couple of months... at a point now where I just want to build the F16 pit with the drawings I made before which I feel is still not accurate enough... but dont want to procastantate anymore. At least I will have a pit to sit at home when I come home from work to fly in.

Last but not least... Michi and all... I have managed to captured the video I took same time last year at the Avalon airshow onto the computer now... about 8 gig of video uncompressed and unedited. Just when you thought I might have forgotten the whole thing :)

The F16's little walk around tour was compressed down to 73mb Divx for a 12 min movie... let me know if there's a way to send it to you via the net? I do have board band now so it makes life abit easier.

Good to be back, hope all are well and pitting away.

    Cheers,

    Al,
    Sydney, Oz
