hi,
the mirror will have to be silvered on the front as opposed to the rear.
otherwise, you get a double-refraction as the image bounces through the
glass to the reflective surface, then again as it goes back out.
in the astronomy world, these are called "flats". the front surface of the
glass is ground to a particularly ,er flat surface.
use a regular mirror to get your initial geometry set up. this will define
the necessary size of the flat (the smaller the better), then pursue the
astronomy avenues for these thingies.
