I found this power point presentation and it has a chart in it that shows
the letter forming technique that I was looking for.

For whatever reason, it's really hard to find info on the net for this
kind of thing.  I guess everyone is more into doing CAD work than
scribbling on Vellum.  Kinda sad actually.
