You need urethane or maybe EPP. Easiest stuff to find is either the foam in
a can (Great Stuff or similar) from the hardware store or the green stuff
for arranging flowers. Hot glue or epoxy it together with pieces of clothes
hanger wire through the joints, shape it with whatever you like (the green
stuff can be shaped with another piece of green stuff), smooth it out with
filler, and glass it. You can also use EPS foam (the usual blue or white
stuff that goes away in the presence of polyester resin) if you shape it,
completely cover it with either thickened epoxy or a few coats of latex
house paint. Or just use epoxy to begin with and any foam out there will do
fine.

Bondo's fillers suck. Run away from them. Make your own out of milled glass,
microballoons, and whatever resin you're using for everything else.
