[simpits-tech] Site update!

Very cool, Gene!

I'm planning on having an instructor station for the Merc as well. The nice
part about using mostly homebrewed software, depending on how much time I
want to spend, I could make literally thousands of failure modes. Model the
entire electrical system down to the littlest bit, then find a wire and
"break" it. Muhahahahaha. If I ever become an instructor, I am going to be
an Evil Little Bastard (tm). :)

I took some time and poked around your Tech section as well. I had forgotten
about a lot of the stuff you've been doing with this thing!! I think if I
get the time I may have to make a roadtrip this summer! :)

BTW, speaking of Mercury, you Orbiter guys HAVE to give Mercury 5.0 a shot
when it's released (sorry, I don't know when that will be quite yet - but I
WILL keep you posted!). Not only are the models I did going to be in there,
but another fellow has created an UNBELIEVABLE panel for it, and Rob (the
head honcho) is adding all sorts of neat coding goodies. This may well be
the most complete and historically accurate addon made for Orbiter yet.
Definitely worth a look! ;)
