Not a bad suggestion: If you something real that
performs like TB1 2 and 3, but want it to be a bit
less challenging than the Shuttle, how about Scaled
Composites SpaceShipOne?

I seriously thought about this for a week or two
before finally going for a generic pit (after all, I'm
a newbie to this ;-)
