Yep
I have seen a ZLIN (Russian Acrobatic) pancake in like
that at an airshow at Swartkops AFB in South Africa
like that.
The pilot started his run in for a stall turn with
enough AGL, but (I think) missed the fact that the
run-in was into rising terain. Thus the pull-up
started way too low. He ended up with enough flying
speed but too much sink rate.
The crash tenders started laying foam and water on the
aircraft less than 1 minute after the impact. Some of
them were moving before the last pieces of debris
stopped moving.
The pilot survived the crash and the ensuing ground
fire, but died a few days later due to inhaling of the
hot gasses from the fire.
