[simpits-tech] Hagstrom KE24 problems

I started setting up the config for my KE-24 last night. I ran into some snags. One was the limitation on macro memory - The space sim I'm using has a TON of multi-key commands I need to simulate (and no way can I afford to go out and buy all DPDT pushbuttons.) I ran out of macro memory before I finished setting up all the necessary commands.

The second problem is much more serious. I can work around the other one but this is a show-stopper if I can't get it fixed. In KE24CFG whenever I try to connect to the KE-24 to upload/download the configuration I get this error: ERROR  NO KE-24 RESPONSE (PRESS ANY KEY)

I have all the cables connected as instructed in the manual.
