I need you to 'splain something to me.  Why do you need to worry about DX
at all?  Doing a screen scrape is probably the most inefficient method of
going about this.  Why not stream out the raw data to an external MFD
program?  Let the external software interpret and display the info just
like the F4 version does for the cockpit graphics.
