[simpits-tech] Video cards

Get an ATI card.  I had been a GeForce fan for many years, but after reading
some and then buying one, they are much more flexible than the GeForce and
better performance.  They have several models out, should be able to find
one for $150 no problem.

Now that I have a sickeningly fast processor, a gig of RAM, and more hard
drive real estate than I can ever hope to fill, I need a faster video card.
I had planned on a GeForce 4 FX5200, but what else is out there? Anything
better for under $150? The GeForce 4 MX on the board isn't bad at all, but
it shares system RAM and doesn't have a TV-out so I can watch DVDs on the TV
sitting on my desk.

Hmm... I have a spare fridge and microwave I could put in here. With a
funnel and water hose I'd never have to leave my office ;)
