One tip: NEVER install Win2K or XP on a FATxx partition, ALWAYS use NTFS!!
If you want to boot into Linux (or something else) do it on a seperate
(FAT) partition.

ps. And create an Emergency Repair Disk or at least a verified boot floppy.

actually XP supports FAT16 and 32, you can even install XP on FAT 32
- it's
in the install menu.
the best thing is to put it as a slave in the XP machine
