Golly Justin:

Just what do you suppose the shortest focus is with a digital projector? I
can obtain focus with an overhead projector with as short a distance as 30
in. I need a digital projector to experiment with to get some basic feel for
focal length. The shorter the better in this case. The real problem isn't
with the focal length that can be corrected with a lens/mirror The real
problem comes with the surface you are projecting on. Glass alone will not
solve your problem, you need to coat the glass. The glass must however still
be transparent so that the forward view is visible. You might want to check
out JML Direct Optics catalog ( http://www.jmlopt.com) for further
information on coatings. It's not rocket science optics is one of the
simplest of the sciences. Their catalog is a great reference for a lot of
optics projects.

Look for solutions not problems.Solutions may be achieved, problems
overcome.
