[simpits-tech] Video Display

More or less what I have got setup now... projector would be ideal... but
space and money doesnt allow it to happen.

I have a 19 inch TFT display which I place on one of those "pivot" arm
support monitor tray for the desktop. Its clamped onto the edge of my desk
next to the pit. So you can imagine when I am working. it swing to my desk.
and when I fly, I swing it into my pit... almost up above the ICP console
where the hud glass is. The image is crystal and big enough for me for now
:) until my wallet get fatter.

I thought about using wall mounted TV stand... but I realised the distance
of those usually doesnt give me enough flexiblity to reach as "close to" my
face as possible. Also, the pivot arm has 3 pivot points. Extend to a maxium
of 80cm...near 3 ft from the fold up position... and u can pick up a cheap
one here at any office store for 50AUD...10USD. holds up to about 30 kg up
to about 50kg which I got for 89AUD.

My tightass solution for a tight space :) let me know if u want some photos.

Cheers,

Al
