[simpits-tech] Video Display

Hi all.
Just started to get back into this madness after shelling out the clams for
a Thrustmaster Cougar (after eventually getting the OK from the missus).
Just wondering how you guys did for video display.
Putting the monitor on top of the cockpit and having the canopy and front
panel between you does not make for much immersion (even with a flight
helmet on).
A fresnel lens really diffuses the image plus you can see the concentric
circles.
I thought of projectors but you need a really dark room plus the space for a
screen for a decent picture.
I am now mulling over having the monitor placed on one of those folding tv
wall mounts so I can push it back to get in or out and pull it close to my
eyes when I am seated.
Anybody care to share experiences?
