One system also had a Hercules monochrome graphics display attached, and
you could put one of the MFDs there.

if it was working there i find it hard to believe they took it off the code
?

If it's still there and just disabled can't we just switch it on ? it won't
be a code change because it's already there and then we'll have everything
but the HUD.
