I made a bunch of changes.

First of all, uploading now reports your browser type and ip address.
If you feel the urge to upload political diatribes to the webserver, I
reserve the right to hunt you down, strip you naked, cover you with
molasses and dump your sorry ass head first into the lion pen at the
Woodland Park Zoo.

Secondly, I've modified the forum software (http://www.simpits.org/forums)
to spit out a notification every time someone posts or replies.  It
includes a cut & paste link.

Lastly, I've created a new list called simpits-ann that is going to be the
repository for these and other announcement mails.  I *strongly* suggest
you subscribe.  If you miss out on something cool because you didn't, well
in the immortal words of Nelson, "HA! HA!".  You snooze, you lose.  Simple
as that.

You can of course flip on digest mode if the traffic gets too much for
you.

Uploads are re-enabled for anyone.  As soon as I can craft a sensible
membership system (i.e. one that doesn't suck), the upload and download
system is going to be locked down tighter than a virgin at a Hedonist's
Convention.  It won't restrict your access to the data in any way, you'll
just have to log in to get at it. *grin*
