[simpits-tech] PC cases........

Just wondering, how difficult would it be to work with the aluminum used to
make PC cases? I have an old 486 chassis sitting around, I'm thinking it
would be great to chop up for a throttle quad, but the stuff looks pretty
stout. Would a regular hand held drill be able to go through the metal? And
what might be the best way to cut it? It just looks ideal for the throttle
chassis, levers, etc. Even the flat grey color looks aviation'ish.

I know, probably dumb questions, but I have zero machining experience, my
experience in making stuff has been mainly in wood only (model planes, and
miscellaneous projects made from lumber).
