[simpits-tech] OT: EX Copter Crash

There are a couple major factors that led up to this crash.

1. regardless of the pilots hours and experience , he obviously didn't do
his pre landing checks ...... the gear was left up!!
2. and the rate of decent that the landing was conducted at even if the
landing gear was extended in time ,,the same crash result would of happened
, at the point of touchdown the undercarrage would have been destroyed.

the website can sugarcoat the fact that the pilot screwed up several factors
in this landing , but my recomendations would be to sack the "so called
expert test pilot" and employ some one who actually new how to fly and who
knew how to follow very simple pre landing checks. !!

rember helecopters are anti gravity machines at some point mother nature
wins and the beast will surcomme to gravity and come down in a heap..... at
least with fixed wing aircraft the pilot can 90 percent of the time select
the piont of impact ..
