As for the 1024x768 problem, I've noticed a couple of options as I peruse 
the net. The first is to find yourself a high-quality overhead LCD panel, 
the kind you just set on a standard overhead projector. Aparently there are 
some out there that will do high res. I saw a site that gave a breakdown on 
the best ones, if I find it I'll post it.

Another thing I heard of someone doing was taking apart a flatscreen monitor 
and using that. I'm not sure on the details of how that would work out, but 
it's aparently possible. Laptop might be a good idea there, too.
