[simpits-tech] panel material

Yes, I am thinking of it for the light plates. I have found several sites
that have acrylic sheet and even one that has a white colored sheet that
they claim is ideal for backlighting applications, but I have not seen the
term "cast sheet". What is that exactly?

I had thought about painting white, then black, then engraving but was
concerned with the possibility of having to touch up the white if the
engraving took too much off and ending up with a less crisp look. So, I
thought the colored sheet might be a better way to go.

Thanks!

Dave
