There *IS a VHF radio, but no control head in the cockpit <remember the A-4 
is absolutely tiny inside.... we're talking spitfire tiny here!)  To tune 
VHF, and also civil VOR/ILS you use the LH Display unit, through the "tune" 
and "system" menus, which I could see as being a hassle :(
