[simpits-tech] How much reality?

Sean,

Pardon my ignorance, but did the A4 not have the ability to tune in VHF frequencies, in case it operated from civilian airfields?

The reason I ask, is that I have a UHF commes set (PTR1751 I think - I'm at work so can't check).

The control head has the ability to display both VHF and UHF frequencies. Basically the control head was connected to an interface unit which was then connected to the UHF and VHF transmitters/receivers.

I'll need to check the diagrams when I get home, but I believe there was a switch somewhere to swap between UHF and VHF.

Might be an easier avenue to go down.
