Right.. now I may be a bit slow here... but it's only the face of the
clock that's divided into 12th's... it shouldn't matter so much what the
increments are as all you'd do with your fancy new altimeter face is
divide the circle into 10ths.  I think.

No that would throw the whole thing off. The dial is divided into 12ths
instead of 10ths. If you could live with it being offset a bit I guess
it would be ok, but I think it would probably be better tojust make your
own or modify a real one.
