Agree? Here? Yeah right!
If it's not Blue and White and rhymes with OOZUKI then it's not worth the
effort...
I had a bike with "uz..ki" on the fairing lowers once... scraped right
through the *very* expensive graphics in qualifying :(

Hokay... Like Chris I did the cardboard box thing in the 70's, then
graduated to hardboard when Dad built a motorhome (I got all the scrap and
built all kinds of things!)

First attempt at a "Sim" proper was when I got FS2 for my birthday in
1985. What a day, the graphics! The sound! The realism! I built a desk
with mounts for joystick and keyboard and I was in heaven!

Next cockpit was <please_don't_smack_me_with_that_trout_Gene!> an F-16, at
about the time that the RNZAF was looking for an A-4
replacement.... Flying mostly F-15 Strike Eagle III (which I think is one
of the best combat sims ever written!) and Falcon 3.0

Current cockpits are the A-4k Skyhawk, which has to be presentable by Jan
25 for an airshow YIKES, and a Beech Queenair/U-8f Seminole, which will
become a Kingair/C-12f next year.

The future? Probably an Apollo LM using Eaglelander 3d and
Orbiter.... But another real possibility is a V8 Supercar sim. Aussie "V8
Supercars" is the coolest *coolest* class of racing bar none. Forget poxy
2 litre super tourers, or formula one, V8's for me! (Imagine a 2 Litre
super tourer, with a 600Hp fuel injected V8....thrashing around a 4 mile
road track for 7 hours......Oh yeah!)
http://www.v8supercars.com.au/

So, I've been doing this for about 17 years on and off.... even still have
the F-16a front panel I made back in the 80's...
