Great Read, Chris ! agree, this list is packed w/ some
great hardware, software, carpenters, engineers, ect..ect...ect..
always look forward to reading my simpit box, wish I were closer, be great
to look over your F-111.
I'm building the Viper also, not much in real parts, most everything will be
hand made, would rather have real parts, but raising 3 teenagers ,who has
the the money for $25 dollars knobs, but the flip side is I enjoy finding
materials, methods and trying to replicate the parts, this list helps a lot
in that area.
I hope to have MFD's once F5 has them accesable to Erwin, in the meantime
I'll be using a p233 gateway connected touchpad (10" dtsn lcd Touchscreen
screen) in place of the center console insruments, running Erwins great F4
glass, it will mean widening the center console an inch, for the MFD's for
now I'll be modding 2 Masterpilots, later implementing lcd screens when mfd
data is gotten to, I'll be wiring
most of the switches and caution lites and building the panels out of the
old tried and true inkjet transparancy method. Thanks to all who contribute
to this list.

think thats what the original thread refered to. The second pit will be the
F-16C, which will be a real cockpit section ( will include part of the
