Marv,

You can get to the data, with only a few lines of code, reading the shared
memory area. This can even be done on a remote PC, using F4DM. 

But maybe you are thinking of a other way to do it? (I am!) Let me know what
your thoughts are. I can do virtually anything with the data, as long as it
stays on the Windows platform.

To extend further (as you know I am also planning to use real instruments) I
will bring the data to a external microcontroller (memory) to which I can
hookup my instruments. I am convinced I should use the USB bus for this, as
USB support for MC's is becoming fairly common these days. Although
programming a MC is mostly assembler based (going back to the old days)
there are high-level language development products for most of the MC's
available.

Once I have the data in an MC, interfacing will become just a matter of
conversion (digital and analog), but that's another ball game.

I you (anybody) has any thoughts about this subject, feel free to address
me.
