Hi Guys,

after testing my own cable with a voltmeter, this is the pin connection 
between the DB9M plug and the DB9F plug.
on the top row (pin #1 to 5) all Pins are connected to the symetrical pin 
i.e: pin 1 on the male plug connected to pin 5 on the femal plug
on the bottom row, it is exactly the same.

So the table:
DB9M-DB9F
  1 - 5
  2 - 4
  3 - 3
  4 - 2
  5 - 1
  6 - 9
  7 - 8
  8 - 7
  9 - 6

Note that pins are counted from left to right, top to bottom when looking at 
the front of the plugs (looking at the connecting side).
