Hi Albert,

  I believe that Erwin did some early work in grabbing data directly 
from the screens, and transferring it to another computer???  I seem 
to recall that the update times (frame rates) were very slow, and if 
you changed your view, you lost the data? Erwin??

Anyway, Martin is correct that there's no way to recreate a fully 
functional MFD from shared memory data.
