Ido, this is what I do.

250g of Ferric to 1/2 litre water, but this is actually much stronger
than needed, but it will speed up the process

mix it in a glass jaw, so you can see.

put the PCB in the glass, and keep rotating the glass with your hands
until all the cobber is gone.

how long it takes, depend on how much cobber is removed, but it is
fairly quick
